In order to pursue and act positively to protect the environment, the Jean Coutu Group (PJC) inc decided to include at their new head office in Varennes, a composting process.
The Groupe Jean Coutu (PJC)inc will treat the left over food materials produced by their cafeteria. The compost produce will be used in their community garden at their Varennes head office.
The compost project was facilitated by purchasing a JORA Canada NE 20T composter (build totaly in Québec/Canada) and with the support of the cafeteria people Gestion du Goût under the direction of Alexandre Vachon (chef)
